Under Construction

Beyond’s past is a tragic one at that. He was the younger of a set of twin boys and, from the very beginning, his world was filled with nothing but hate and sadness.

His parents were strict Christians, and his father even a reverend. But because of his unnatural eyesight, he was looked down upon as a monster, and called cruel names such as ‘the son of Satan’. Because of how shameful he was to his family’s name, all evidence of the existence of Beyond Birthday was destroyed. He was abandoned by his mother in a park at the age of four, and years later his mother, father, and brother all died in various accidents. The only evidence Beyond has to remind himself of his family is a small silver chain with a bohemian cross set with a red opal stone. He never takes it off, though it is always hidden underneath his shirt, easy to conceal due to its small size..

For the next two years, Beyond was passed from orphanage to orphanage, until Whammy’s House finally picked him up. It was here he became ‘B’, and gained second place in the race to become L’s successor. He became best friends with a fellow student who went by ‘A’, the first-place contender, and the two established a very good rapport. Despite that each child was supposed to be individually fighting, A and B decided that, should they succeed, they would work as L together. Not as an L and Watari partnership, but two people working as a single L. It was then they built the alias of ‘Luxaky Luee’, to represent the individual components of ‘L’. Their relationship grew until, at thirteen years old, they became ‘lovers’.

All was well, for a time, until A happened to eavesdrop on a conversation between Rodger, Watari, and L himself. A learned that he and the other children of the first generation were nothing but the prototypes of the system and not expected to succeed. In fact, L didn’t expect proper results until the fifth or so generation. Devastated by this discovery, A committed suicide, and B left the orphanage shortly thereafter.

B remained in hiding, harboring his hatred and keeping in check with a stoic mask. He wasn’t seen again until the year 2002, under the guise of detective ‘Luxaky Luee’, now a murderer with a plan to ruin L’s reputation. Of course, he failed, and was sentenced to life. Because of Luxaky’s defeat, L also took his name, and revised the role to that of Ryuzaki Ruee for practical purposes in the Kira case.

Given the name Prisoner #8222002, B was placed in a ward for the mentally ill of criminal minds. L, who knew of B’s ability to know a person’s name or lifespan by looking at their face, ordered the doctors to keep him blinded at all times. Had L specified what he meant, B’s eyes might have been saved. As it was, the doctors simply poured hydrochloric acid over the right side of his face, and then beat his left eye until at most he could only make out the minimum of shadows. Various other forms of torture were used, most of which were tests that would be implemented on fellow inmates for the use of extracting information, but B’s mind had been shattered completely from over-stimulation.

Then, two years later, he died. From a heart attack.

After that, he was transported to a place called ‘Nihil’(nihip_rp), where various other circumstances occurred. It was there that he was abducted and taken to an asylum, whereupon the odd creatures did various experimentations upon his right eye. Eventually, though an elaborate surgical procedure, they managed to remove the ruin of the eye, rebuild the tear ducts and lids, and successfully implant a different eye, uncannily similar to that of a tokay gecko. The new eye gave him a degree of vision, though he lost the ability of the Shinigami Eyes.

Not long after that, he was brought to the innerdimensional mansion of dndressingroom, where he stumbled into a room and has since been reverted back to his old self. Albeit, he still retains all his memories.

Now, he simply exists among the residents, reading leisurely and occupying the library whenever possible.
